Return & Exchange Policy
At Suruchi Sarees, each saree is carefully sourced in limited quantities and thoroughly inspected before dispatch to ensure quality and accuracy. We strongly encourage customers to review all product images, close-ups, blouse details, videos, and descriptions carefully before placing an order to ensure clarity regarding colour, fabric, work, and design.
Prepaid Orders
All orders placed on our website are prepaid only. Orders are processed within 24 hours after confirmation.
Cancellations by Customer
Customers may request cancellation only before the order has been processed, packed, or dispatched. Once the order has been processed or handed over to the courier partner, cancellations are not permitted. Approved cancellations prior to processing will be refunded to the original payment method within 7–10 working days.
Cancellations by Suruchi Sarees
Suruchi Sarees reserves the right to cancel any order at its sole discretion in cases including but not limited to stock unavailability, pricing or listing errors, payment verification issues, suspected fraudulent transactions, or operational constraints. In such cases, any amount paid will be refunded to the original payment method.
Refunds
Refunds to the original payment method or product replacement will be applicable only in cases where the issue is attributable to us or during delivery, including but not limited to major manufacturing defects, significant transit damage, incorrect product delivered, or a missing blouse piece.
Customers must notify us within 24 hours of delivery and provide a clear, continuous unboxing video recorded from the moment the package is opened, without cuts or edits. Clear product images and a copy of the original invoice may also be required.
The product must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition with all tags and packaging intact. Upon successful verification, we will offer a replacement subject to availability. If a replacement is not available, the refund will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 working days.
Store Credit / Exchange
In certain cases where the product delivered matches the listing but does not meet personal expectations, store credit or exchange may be considered after review. Such cases include, but are not limited to, colour tone variation due to lighting or screen settings, fabric feel assumptions, drape expectations, perceived transparency levels, minor design element differences visible in product images, or subjective dissatisfaction with the overall appearance.
Customers must notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide a clear, continuous unboxing video along with relevant images and invoice copy. All such requests are subject to detailed product condition review and final approval at the sole discretion of Suruchi Sarees. The situations described above do not automatically entitle the customer to store credit or exchange, and the final resolution will be determined after inspection and policy compliance review.
If a return is approved, the product must be shipped back to our warehouse in unused, unwashed condition with original tags, packaging, and invoice intact. Once received, the product will undergo inspection and quality verification. Based on inspection findings and policy compliance, Suruchi Sarees will determine the appropriate resolution.
Refunds are not applicable for exchanges. If an exchange product is of higher value, the customer must pay the price difference before dispatch. If the exchanged product is of lower value, the balance amount may be issued as store credit at our discretion. Store credit, if issued, is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Non-Eligible Cases / Subject to Discretion
Returns, refunds, or exchanges will not be accepted in cases including but not limited to change of mind, occasion cancellation, delayed event requirements, incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided at checkout, refusal to accept delivery, minor variations inherent to handcrafted or textile products, damage caused after delivery due to improper handling or use, missing or tampered tags or packaging, claims raised without valid proof, or requests made beyond the specified timelines.
In such cases, Suruchi Sarees reserves the right to approve store credit, partial credit, exchange, corrective resolution, or decline the request entirely at its sole discretion.
Shipping Responsibility
If the issue is verified as our error (incorrect or defective product), Suruchi Sarees will bear the reasonable return shipping cost as per our instructions. For approved expectation-based exchanges, applicable shipping or handling charges may be borne by the customer.
Non-Refundable Charges
Any charges related to express handling, special services, shipping upgrades, or third-party convenience fees, including but not limited to payment gateway charges where applicable, are non-refundable once the order has been processed.
Unapproved Returns
Products sent back without prior approval or without following the prescribed process will not be accepted and may be returned to the sender at their expense.
Customer Responsibility
Suruchi Sarees shall not be responsible for delivery delays, non-delivery, or failed delivery attempts resulting from incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided at the time of checkout, including but not limited to incorrect address details, unavailable recipient, or refusal to accept delivery.
Limitation of Rights
Suruchi Sarees reserves the right to verify all claims and make the final determination regarding refunds, exchanges, store credits, cancellations, or any other resolution in accordance with this policy and applicable laws.
Governing Law
This policy shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi, India.
